SMART Training: Small Business Survival Skills in Tough Economic Times and How to Manage a Layoff

Presented By: Ken Rosevear and Cynthia Marshall, PHR

SMART Training provides solutions to today’s most pressing business issues.  We’re here to guide your business through these uncertain economic times.  This 12-point program serves as a primer for the implementation of a business plan to manage a small business during the current recession.  Some of the points include...

  • Get the list of questions you need to ask your self about the current state of your business.
  • Find out what stands between you and making the right business choices for your business.
  • Get tips on cutting expenses wisely and making every decision count.
  • Find out how to plan for a reduction in workforce.
  • Get important tips on how to conduct the meetings with your affected workers.
  • Learn about the important tools that both you and your laid off employee will need.

Through the SMART Training being offered through YPIC and The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce, you’ll discover unique strategies that you can implement immediately to better align your business objectives during these tough economic times.
